The library was recipient of  Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Award for the best state central library in the year 2000 AD. It was Spring time and social media was flooded with pictures of Bangalore Blooms in which Cubbon park had a special mention. Being a Bangalorean, I feel sad to say that I have never visited Cubbon park till date. At Government Aquarium, visitors can see aquatic creatures on display in over 3 floors.
